Ballet theatre of St. Petersburg Conservatoire
The Ballet theatre of St.Petersburg Conservatoire named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov is located on Teatralnaya (Theatre) Square in front of Mariinsky theatre. On this place in the 18th century was erected building of the most important St. Petersburg theatre – the Bolshoi (Big) theatre. At the end of the 19th century the building was reconstructed for the Conservatoire. Nowadays, classical ballet and opera performances are staged here.
