Anna Kasyan (Soprano)
Since early childhood Anna Kasyan has shown wonderful music abilities. She studied piano and violin at the Tbilisi Special School for Music, and in 1999 she entered the violin class of the Saradjishili State Conservatory in Tbilisi, later switched to the Vocal Department. In 2003 she continued her studies in Paris, France at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, and then at the age of 22 she became a post-graduate student of the National Conservatory in Paris.
She is a prize-winner of numerous international competitions including the 1st Thebaldi International Competition in San Marino (2005, Second Prize), the International Competition in Montreal (2005, Fourth Prize), several competitions in France.
In 2006 Anna Kasyan won the Second Prize together with three special prizes at the 5th UNISA International Voice Competition in South Africa.
Being an active performer, she sings in prestigious halls in Paris such as Salle Cortot, UNESCO, Cite de la Musique, gives concerts in San Marino and in Italy.
She has collaborated with such renown conductors as D.Lipton, M. Picmalle, M. Lebelle and others.
