Korobeinikov:
Was born on the 10th of July 1986 in the
town Dolgoprudny in the Moscow region of Russia. Since the age of 5 he plays the
piano. Since 1994 till 2006 he has got more than 20 prizes in different national
and international competitions. Among them – the I prize at the III Alexander
Scriabin International piano competition in Moscow (2004) and the II prize with
the Audience prize at the II Sergey Rachmaninov International piano competition
in Los Angeles (2005).
Andrei gave his first professional solo recital
at the age of 8 at the Great Hall of the Baku State Conservatoire of Music in
Azerbaijan. Since then he's performed concerts in more than 20 countries of the
world: in Belgium, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, France,
Germany, Great Britain, India, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa,
Sweden, Taiwan, Uruguay, United States of America, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan,
Azerbaijan and many cities of Russian Federation.
Andrei Korobeinikov
performed in the relevant halls of the world, such as the Great Hall of Moscow
Conservatoire, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Sala Verdi in Milan,
Salle Alfred Cortot in Paris, Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in Tokyo, Wigmore Hall in
London, Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb, Spanelsky sal in Prague and the Great Hall
of the Saint-Petersburg's Philharmonics.
Andrei's also appeared within
such festivals as La Roque d'Antheron and La Folle journee (France), Musical
Kremlin (Russia), Festival de Sintra (Portugal), Yokohama International Piano
Concert (Japan) and others. His performances were also broadcast by Radio
France, BBC (Russian service), Orpheus Radio (Russia), TV Kultura (Russia) and
Radio SODRE (Uruguay).
During his not very long career Andrei
Korobeinikov has already got fantastic chances to collaborate and perform
concertos with such conductors as Vladimir Ashkenazy, John Axelrod, Vakhtang
Jordania, Vladimir Ziva, Constantine Orbelian, Yoshinori Kawachi, Ovidiu Balan
and Edward Serov.
Andrei Korobeinikov began to take music lessons and
play the piano in 1991 at the "Rovesnik" Children School of Music (in the
classes of Liudmila Kazieva and Alexander Karpukhin) in Dolgoprudny (region of
Moscow), where he was born;
From 1992 until 1997 he studied at the
Central Special High School of Music of Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire
(in the class of Nikolai Toropov) and the Isaac Dunaevsky Children School of
Music (in the class of Natalia Sanovich);
From 1997 until 2001 he
studied at the Moscow Regional College of Arts (in the class of Eduard Syomin),
from which he graduated with honors;
As well since 1998 Andrei has taken
master-classes from pianist Rustem Gainanov;
In 2001 he entered the
Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (in the class of Andrei Diev), from which
he graduated with honors in June 2006, having received "5+" (maximum of points
with the "+") for the final state examination of solo piano recital. Therefore,
graduating from the Moscow Conservatoire with honors at the age of 19, Andrei
repeated Sergey Rachmaninov's unique achievement of 1892!
In 2006 Andrei
Korobeinikov won the Gill & Julian Simmonds' Scholarship and entered the
postgraduate course at the Royal College of Music in London (in the class of
Vanessa Latarche).
In 2000 he was elected as an all-life member of the
San-Marino International Academy of Science in the Art Department.
At
the same time, in 1998 (at the age of 12) he entered the law faculty of the
European Law University in Moscow, from which he graduated with honours in 2003
as a lawyer. Andrei has published several law scientific articles.
He
speaks 3 foreign languages: English, Italian and Esperanto.
