But I would like everyone to interpret it in their own way. " (Ted Brandsen)
AFFI / Offee Choreography: Marco Gёke. Music: Johnny Cash. Three songs of Johnny Cash inspired Marco Gёke to create a powerful and touching solo «Affi» specially for Marian Rademakera. IN LIGHT AND SHADOW / LIGHT AND SHADOW Choreography by Krzysztof Pastor. Music: Johann Sebastian Bach. This half-hour ballet Krzysztof Pastor, on the one hand, inspired by the baroque dance and painting by Vermeer, Rembrandt and Latour, and on the other - is built on contradictions. Here are opposed not only light and shadow, but also cutting-edge line of scenery and abundantly rich in the music of Bach. Contrasts and the dance itself: opening dizzying fragile duo aria from the Goldberg Variations, the action choreography literally plowed into a multicolored and multi-figure painting to the accompaniment of the Third Orchestral Suite. Pastor himself conceived "as a detailed picture of how the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo, where excessive radiant luxury coexists with muted chamber and intimacy."
