Vladimir Tyulpanov (Baritone) Baritone
Prize-winner at the International Pechovsky Competition (1996, St Petersburg) and the International Diaghilev Competition (1997, Perm).
Born in Leningrad.
Graduated from the St Petersburg Choral School in 1991. Graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1997.
Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers since 1998.

In 2003 he performed at the Dutch Opera and took part in a festival of early music. Has toured with the Mariinsky Theatre to Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Israel and the USA. In 2003 he took part in a tour to the UK, appearing in Rossini?s Il barbiere di Siviglia and Tchaikovsky?s Eugene Onegin.
In 2004 he took part in a new production of Shostakovich?s The Nose at the Mariinsky Theatre.
In 2005 he made his debut in Prokofiev?s Love for Three Oranges in Luxemburg.
